[Remops] Help with Echolot

Maybe one of the other Echolot users here might help me with this one?

The remailer address mixmaster at mail.hoi-polloi.org is not a valid
remailer address. But Echolot continues to ping it. I then get the
associated bounces and error messages and I have to delete them.
It's a maintenance chore that I would like to avoid if possible.

To no avail I've tried

./pingd disable mixmaster at mail.hoi-polloi.org

and

./pingd delete mixmaster at mail.hoi-polloi.org

But Echolot always ends up adding it back to its list of remailers and
starts pinging it anew.
