I think you missed what I was saying. These things are difficult to
discuss/explain clearly.

I will include (bergman's) allpingers.txt with non-https urls in the
mixmaster package. Mixmaster will use that and be fine. Bergman will
change the jeremy http to https on his site, and the great majority of
the users can benefit from jeremy's SSL. QSL will be using bergman's
allpingers.txt. It would be nice to provide at least 1 SSL source. I'd
like it as the default. That could be you :)

By your thinking, wouldn't we need to eliminate all SSL from all
allpingers.txt so mixmaster won't choke for a few users?

And those will be the ones used by mixmaster. Bergman's allpingers would
_never_ be updated by mixmaster.

I see what you are talking about here, but remember, we are talking
about mix for _windows_ only. It's a totally different picture.

Do you still see problems? I'll be happy to go with whatever you want.
You were very high on SSL yesterday :)

I will go with your wishes. We can go with non-ssl for jeremy. In that
case, I'll leave fourohninesix as default for stats. He's done a great
job.

Let me know and if you still don't like it, I'll revise my plan.

Richard
