It already exists, to some extend. If you send an email message to a
remailer with the subject line "remailer-stats" without the quotes you
should get back an email with daily/hourly information about number of
mix messages sent, number of pgp messages sent, number of Usenet
posts, etc...

Not much documentation exists about this feature. For example, I still
don't understand what "intermediate" messages are. Ping traffic, perhaps..
