Yes, it does the same for me too.  To get the expected behaviour I have
to specify -m (--mail) on the command line.  According to the manpage,
this should be the default.

Yup, confirmed.  Looks like the same problem as specifying -m exhibits
the correct behaviour.

Can you try this with the -m option?  Meanwhile I'll take a look at
what's going on.
