Hi Lance,

The current 4096 bit version of Mixmaster is in active development so I
think the best course of action is to help with that.  It's now hosted
on github so it can be forked and updates pushed back into the main
repository.

Another option is to pick up development of Mixminion, which is also
hosted on github.  This has the significant benefit of supporting
Reply-Block technology so users can be pseudonymous.  The transport
protocol (MMTP) uses TLS which is an additional advantage and removes
the dependency on SMTP.
