A little bit ago a new mixmaster server implementation was put on github: https://github.com/cryptodotis/mixfaster I'm not the author, but as part of the crypto.is project I'm providing a server to do some testing on.

I have set up a test deployment of mixfaster for interoperability testing. If you run a remailer, I would greatly appreciate your confirming your remailer both accepts messages forwarded from this mixfaster deployment, and that the mixfaster deployment processes messages sent through your remailer.

IT IS NOT SAFE TO USE FOR LEGITIMATE MESSAGES.
IT IS LOGGING ALL MESSAGES PASSING THROUGH THE SERVER.

Besides the logging, there is _no pooling_ whatsoever. Obviously, this deployment provides ZERO anonymity or security - it's purpose is just for interoperability testing. The development is ongoing. Eventually, after a lot more features are developed, a longer-term server will be set up for further testing.

You can get the key by sending the subject 'remailer-key' to mix at anonymity.is. It will reply immediately with the remailer-key:

$remailer{"anonis"} = "<mix at anonymity.is> mix remix reord klen0";

You can use this deployment with mixmaster: after you've build mixmaster from source, edit pubring.mix and place the above key into the top of it (except the $remailer line). Now in the list of remailers, you will see the 'anonis' remailer and you can use it. Updating stats will erase it, and you will need to place it in again. If you create a single-hop chain (and things work) the message will be routed to the final address immediately.

Please perform interoperability testing, but be mindful YOUR MESSAGES ARE LOGGED. Please communicate with me if you encounter any undelivered messages, if messages via anonymity.is are being rejected by your server software, or anything else weird. Alternately, you could create an issue on github, or contribute a patch - but I'm just as happy to take your feedback and make you do the least amount of work possible.

My PGP key is at http://pgp.mit.edu:11371/pks/lookup?op=vindex&search=0x259248244CD4D3DB if you want to use it.
