Hi Patrick,

There are various ways to do it, but here's what I'd do.

A few days before the move, add this line to the end of your mix.cfg:
EXTFLAGS testing
This instructs Echolot pingers to not publish your remailer. Then
change your RATE to 100 so that your remailer sends everything in its
pool for the remaining days. This will prevent message loss at the time
of the move.

Get mixmaster installed on the new server and check it's functioning
properly as a client, (with current stats). Once that's working
properly, shutdown the old one and copy over these files:
*.alw
*.blk
mix.cfg
secring.mix
*.txt (except old mlist and rlist stats files)

Start the remailer and check the error.log for any problems, then
finally remove the EXTFLAGS from your mix.cfg so that Echolot pingers
advertise it again.
