[Remops] New remailer PGP keys - what's the best procedure?

I run Mixmaster. This creates it's own new Mixmaster keys every
now and then and allows a bit of overlap so that the previous
key keeps working until the new key is widely distributed.

What is the procedure for doing this manually with PGP keys?
Where do I put the new key without Mixmaster complaining that
there are two keys and ensure that the new key is distributed in
preference to the old one - but the old one is still used to
decrypt messages that have already been encrypted with it?

I'd expect to have an overlap of about a month.
